1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rose ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of South Africa to use Rose. By registering you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not share your account or let anyone else access it.
• You must provide accurate, truthful information during registration.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be suspended without notice.

4. How Rose Works

Rose is a community prediction market where users place predictions on the outcomes of real-world events using South African Rands (ZAR). Users pool funds into markets and receive payouts based on the accuracy of their predictions when a market is resolved.

• Markets are created by approved sellers and resolved based on verifiable outcomes.
• Once placed, a bet cannot be cancelled or reversed.
• Rose charges no commission on winnings at this time. This may change with notice.

5. Deposits & Withdrawals

• Deposits are processed through our approved payment providers.
• Withdrawals are sent to the bank account you have linked to your profile.
• Rose reserves the right to delay or refuse a withdrawal if fraud is suspected.
• Minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts may apply and are displayed in the app.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for money laundering or any illegal activity.
• Manipulate markets through collusion, multiple accounts, or insider information.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users in the chat or elsewhere on the Platform.
• Attempt to exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or technical errors for personal gain.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform.

7. Market Resolution

Markets are resolved by the market creator or by Rose administrators based on publicly verifiable information. Rose acts in good faith but resolution decisions are final. In rare cases where a market cannot be fairly resolved, Rose may void the market and refund all participants.

8. Referral Programme

Rose may offer referral bonuses from time to time. Abuse of the referral system (fake accounts, self-referrals) will result in forfeiture of bonuses and possible account suspension.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rose is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:

• Rose is not liable for any losses arising from your use of the Platform, including lost predictions or funds.
• Rose is not liable for technical issues, outages, or payment provider failures.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the balance in your Rose account.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Remaining balances (excluding bonuses) will be returned where possible.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
